Colin became a partner in the law firm Arthur Robinson & Co (now Allens Arthur Robinson) in 1978.
During his time as a partner in that firm Colin advised many of Australia's leading corporations in a series of landmark mergers, acquisitions and commercial transactions. Colin retired from the partnership of Allens Arthur Robinson on 31 January 2006 and joined Gresham Partners as a Special Advisor in February 2006.
Colin is Chairman of BHP Billiton Community Trust, a Director of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, OneSteel Limited, Australian Institute of Company Directors and CARE Australia and is a Trustee of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroscience Foundation.
Colin holds the degrees of LL.B (Hons) and LL.M from the University of Melbourne.
