Rob Gordon is the former Managing Director and CEO of Dairy Farmers, one of Australia's leading branded dairy businesses. Rob joined Dairy Farmers in 2004 with a clear mandate to re-set the business to achieve sustainable growth in advance of a public listing.
Previously, Rob held the position of founding Managing Director of Goodman Fielder's Consumer Foods Division, encompassing Uncle Tobys and Meadow Lea Foods. In this role he oversaw an internal restructure and major cost reduction program resulting in strong double-digit earnings growth. Prior to this, Rob held several senior management roles with global fast moving consumer goods company, Unilever. His remit included retail, manufacturing and food marketing across regions such as the United Kingdom, Europe and the Asia Pacific.
Rob sits on the Board of the Australian Food and Grocery Council, the nation's peak body representing food manufacturers and holds a Bachelor of Science (Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Honours) from the University of Portsmouth (UK).
