Craig is based in Melbourne and is a Managing Director of Gresham's corporate advisory business. With more than 17 years corporate finance experience, Craig focuses on public takeovers, business acquisitions and divestments, capital raisings and strategic business reviews. He advises across a diverse range of industries - including the agribusiness, resources, infrastructure, healthcare, services, retail and financial sectors.
Since joining Gresham in 2004, Craig has led advisory assignments for more than 30 clients. This has resulted in transactions with a combined value of $4 billion. Publicly known deals Craig has led include takeover responses for Indophil Resources (>$540m), Colorado ($450m) and Orchard Petroleum ($175m); merger of Regis aged care with RCA ($600m); successful public takeovers of Pacific Hydro by Industry Funds ($776m) and Gribbles Pathology by Healthscope ($425m); business sales for Housewares, API, Champ Ventures and GE; asset acquisitions for Midway and Programmed Maintenance; capital raisings for Willmott Forests, Regis and Healthscope.
Previously, Craig was a Director at UBS investment banking, had 5 years in project finance at Deutsche Bank and commenced his career at Shell Australia and Arthur Andersen.
Craig holds a Masters of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (Honors in Economics), both from the University of Melbourne.
