Darren joined Gresham in 2005 and is a Director of Gresham’s corporate advisory business based in Perth.

Darren has been involved in a number of M&A transactions and a variety of corporate and strategic advisory assignments across a range of sectors, including energy & resources, industrials and financial services.

Recent experience includes advising Polaris Metals on the agreed takeover bid by Mineral Resources;  BG Group on its acquisition of Pure Energy; Gem Diamonds on the acquisition of Kimberley Diamonds; Iluka on the $114m capital raising; Kalahari Minerals on its proposed merger with Extract Resources; Iluka on the $353m accelerated rights issue; Wesfarmers on the A$2.6b accelerated rights issue; IAMGOLD on the acquisition of Gallery Gold; Summit Resources on its takeover offer by Paladin Resources; RAC on the investment in St Ives and introducing Denham Capital to Trans Tasman Resources.

Prior to joining Gresham, Darren began his investment banking career with in the Global Metals and Mining team at Rothschild in Sydney, completing various corporate advisory assignments both in Australia and internationally. Darren commenced his career with Ernst & Young where he qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2001.

Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Curtin University and is a Chartered Accountant. He is also a Fellow of FINSIA.
